The City of Key Colony Beach invites all residents to apply for the vacant commission seat left open due to Commissioner Ronald A. Sutton’s sudden passing.
The City will hold the Organizational Meeting on December 1, 2022, 9:30 am. for the swearing in of the newly elected commissioners, and for the appointment by City Commission to fill the vacant seat for the remainder of the unexpired term until the next election in 2024. If majority of remaining commission members are unable to agree upon a person to fill said vacancy, the commission shall call a special election for that purpose.
Please submit a letter of interest with your qualifications to cityclerk@keycolonybeach.net no later than Wednesday, November 23, 2022, 12:00 p.m.
Applicants must be residents of the City of Key Colony Beach and be registered voters eligible to vote in Key Colony Beach elections.
