March 2024 Beautification Award
Congratulations to Janey and Jim Byland on 7th St who are our March Beautification Award winners! Janey works her magic with the small gardens on each side of the driveway but the showpiece is their backyard which is bursting with trees and colorful plants, all cared for by J&J. It is a special treat to be invited to see it. Janey is the First Lady of our KCB gardens. During her years on Beauts, she was key in making big changes to our green spaces around City Hall like the Waterfront park, the Tiki garden by the old post office, the coconut pathway and plantings by the now post office. Janey always says, "I just love playing in the dirt!"
