Key Colony Beach Fishing & Boating Club
The Key Colony Beach Fishing and Boating Club is a social club for residents of Key Colony Beach who share an interest in fishing, boating, and good fellowship.
The Club meets on the first Friday of each month from November through April at the City Hall Auditorium. Meetings begin at 6:00 PM with refreshments, followed by a business meeting and dinner.
Annual Club events include a New Year’s Eve Party, President’s Day Clam Bake, End-of-Season Dinner, and an annual local golf tournament. The Little Palm Island trip is scheduled upon demand.
Each June, the Club—working in conjunction with the City of Key Colony Beach, the KCB Police Department, and the City of Marathon—sponsors and hosts a free Children’s Fishing Derby aboard the Marathon Lady, followed by an *Awards Luncheon at the KCB Inn. Month-long fishing tournaments are held throughout the season, with awards presented for the largest fish in several categories.
Boating excursions are scheduled throughout the season, including a monthly sunset or moonrise raft-up for participating boaters.
