The City of Key Colony Beach has entered into a Local State of Emergency in advance of the landfall of Tropical Storm Fred. We recommend that all residents and visitors shelter in place late Friday night through Saturday. Please secure any garbage or recycling cans along with any lose items on your property or rental. If you feel your boat or watercraft may be vulnerable to tropical storm force winds, rain and surge, please ensure you secure these vessels. In addition, there may be localized flooding as we anticipate 3-6 inches in rainfall and winds of approximately 40 mph.
