Weather Brief – Invest AL91 – Florida Keys of Monroe County

From the National Weather Service:

A short weather brief concerning a tropical disturbance in the northeast Gulf of Mexico is attached.  No direct impacts are forecast at this time, however an upper level (high altitude) trough of low pressure over the eastern Gulf of Mexico will keep above-normal rain and thunderstorm chances across the Florida Keys through at least Saturday.  A few thunderstorms could produce brief gusty winds and heavy downpours, but on-par for disturbances during our typical rainy season.

We will continue to monitor for any changes in potential impacts from this tropical disturbance, which has a medium chance to develop into a tropical cyclone over the next 48 hours.

Note that these briefings will post to the following web address for reference.  If you have problems receiving mass-emails, use this fixed link to view the latest briefing.
