Per NWS Key West – The disturbed weather over the southeast Bahamas is expected to move into the Gulf by early next week. It has a medium (40%) chance of developing over the Gulf. Over the next 48 hours, a near-0% chance. It will bring locally heavy rainfall especially Saturday through Sunday and some gusty squalls.
Between now and Monday morning, many areas might pick up 2 to 3 inches of total rainfall. We are not expecting widespread flooding, but a few squalls could cause some brief street flooding.
