- Tropical Storm Watch in effect for ALL of the Florida Keys including Dry Tortugas
- Coastal Flood Watch in effect for ALL of the Florida Keys through Sunday morning
- Prepare today for the potential for:
- Thundery squalls with localized wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph Saturday morning through Sunday
- Above normal tides with water levels 1 to 2 feet above mean higher high water, similar to an October (peak) King Tides
- Slight Risk of excessive rainfall for the Lower Keys and Key West, and a Marginal Risk of excessive rainfall for the Middle and Upper Keys with rainfall most likely to fall in the 3 to 6 inch range from tonight through Sunday.
- A tropical disturbance near eastern Cuba is expected to cross the Straits of Florida Saturday, then move near or over the west coast of Florida Saturday night through Sunday night. This disturbance has a high chance (70%) of developing into a tropical cyclone over the next 48 hours.
