Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for the Dry Tortugas
Tropical Storm Watch remains in effect for the Lower and Middle Florida Keys
Coastal Flood Watch (for saltwater flooding) in effect for ALL of the Florida Keys through Sunday morning
Flood Watch (rainfall induced flooding) in effect for ALL of the Florida Keys through Sunday morning
Prepare as soon as possible for the potential for:
Thundery squalls with localized wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph, but up to around 50 knots over open waters, this morning
through Sunday
A marginal risk of severe weather this afternoon through early Sunday morning, with the primary threat being an isolated
tornado or two.
Above normal tides with water levels 1 to 2 feet above mean higher high water, similar to October King Tides.
Oceanside overwash atop seawalls, docks, and low elevation yards and streets due to wave action is also expected
today through Sunday.
Slight Risk of excessive rainfall, with totals most likely in the 2 to 4 inch range through Sunday. Locally higher amounts
will be possible.
Tropical Depression Four will move into the western Straits of Florida and eastern Gulf of Mexico later today and Sunday, then reaching the Florida Gulf coast late Sunday or Monday.
The next briefing will be distributed around 6:00 pm EDT this evening.
