9am at the Areca Hedge Color Garden.
Areca Hedge Color Garden is located on 7th Street, behind the bocce ball courts and dog park. With all the improvements at this site- from the pickle ball court to the new play equipment to the new pavers at the bocce ball courts- this will put the finishing touches on this area. Now that this area has been dethatched over the last few weeks, this will prevent further erosion, and lay the foundation to add more color next year.
If you could join us as we spread a few bags of mulch (200 to be exact) along the Garden, if there’s ANY way you could lend a hand- even a half hour- any contributing would be greatly appreciated.
There’s a certain satisfaction that comes from seeing sites like this in KCB and knowing, “I helped make that place look better.”
