On this Veterans Day, I extend my immense gratitude to the men and women who have worn the uniform of the United States Armed Forces in service to our country. Florida is home to millions of veterans -Americans who served with honor, courage, and devotion to duty. Today, we pay tribute to each one of these outstanding heroes.
Coming from a military family, I see firsthand the immense sacrifices and faith that service demands – not only from those who serve but also from the loved ones who stand behind them. The values of discipline, integrity, and love of country that define military life are the very values that make our nation strong.
As a proud suppo11er of our military, both active and retired, I will always stand firmly behind those who defend our freedom. Our veterans deserve every opportunity to thrive – in their health, careers, and communities – and I am committed to ensuring that promise is fulfilled.
In Washington, I am working each day to ensure that our military members and veterans receive the benefits they earned through service to our great nation. Our servicemembers should never have to question their nation’s commitment to them, and I will continue doing everything l can to make certain they have the resources and respect they deserve.
