The Key Colony Beach Police Department reminds residents and visitors that removing, taking, damaging, or disturbing a political sign belonging to another person without authorization may constitute a crime, including petit theft under Florida law.
Members of the public should not remove political signs themselves. If there is a concern regarding the placement of a sign, please contact the City of Key Colony Beach or the Key Colony Beach Police Department so the matter can be addressed by the appropriate personnel.
The Police Department asks everyone to respect the property of others and the political process.
