The Florida Keys Electric Cooperative (FKEC) has scheduled a planned power outage that will affect parts of Key Colony Beach.

⏰ Time: Approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The scheduled outage is necessary for FKEC to perform maintenance and improvements to the electrical system.
Residents and businesses in the affected areas should plan accordingly. During the outage, please remember to:
- Charge cell phones and other electronic devices in advance.
- Keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible.
- Unplug sensitive electronic equipment or use surge protection.
- If using a generator, operate it safely and never indoors or in enclosed spaces.
