Precautionary Boil Water Notice from FKAA

PBWN: Low Pressure- Transmission Repair- Marathon 5.19.26

FKAA is responding to a Transmission repair in Marathon on US1 & 65th Street affecting the Lower Keys, causing low pressure to no water. We will provide an update as more information comes in.

Due to the transmission main break in Marathon, near US1 and 65th Street, a Precautionary Boil Water Notice (PBWN) is being issued for all residences and businesses located in areas that have experienced a drop in water pressure below 20 psi. These areas include:

• From Lower Matecumbe Key MM 77.5 to Curry Hammock State Park MM56
• From Knights Key MM47 to Beach Drive, Big Pine Key MM32
• Torch Keys
• Ramrod Key
• Cudjoe Key
• Upper Sugarloaf Key
• Lower Sugarloaf Key
• Baypoint
• Bluewater
• Shark Key
• Rockland Key
• Boca Chica Key
This PBWN will be in effect from now until 3:00PM on Friday, May 22nd, 2026, unless you hear additional information from the FKAA. Again, this is precautionary notice only.
